This 21- unit supposed housing project was built for homeless HIV positive individuals and families and attempts to bring comfortable living to a deeply troubled and neglected segment of our society. Designed as two buildings built around a common courtyard, this project seeks to create a sense of community within the confines of a tight lot and the equally tight budgetary constraints of assisted housing. The orientation of the two buildings steps toward the dramatic views of the Hudson and the Palisades afforded by the steeply sloping site.
