Bermuda Road House

Westport, Connecticut

Wormser and Associates completed a gut renovation of this late 1970s home, pool, and deep water dock on Bermuda Road. Working within a strange triangular floor plan and strict town zoning requirements, we have created a dramatic and open plan built around a double height 'great' room. The updated 'shingle style' exterior blends traditional vernacular building elements and materials with a more contemporary lifestyle. A rich palette of materials and careful reworking of the site help to create a unique and private compound facing Bermuda lagoon.
